Oh my! Whew, the food was sooo good! The service was slower, but I came with a group of 40people, so it was totally understandable. I had the oxtail with greens and cabbage. It was excellent. The gravy was very flavorful and the oxtails were plentiful and extremely tender. I also tasted the smothered pork chops and they were seasoned just right. The creator of these fabulous meals, Mr. Paul is also pictured below. He put his sho' nuf foot in this food!

A little taste of Sunday home cooking. Reminds me of grandma's and moms good cooking. Their southern hospitality is excellent .Shyra is a very good hostess/waitress.

I have eaten here several times, and the food is always hot and delicious. The service is excellen! This is my favorite place to enjoy soul food, and the peach cobbler is OUTSTANDING!

Came for breakfast; I had gumbo and okra, only because it was already ready, it’s not on breakfast menu. I appreciated they were willing to serve it!husband had chicken and waffles. Said it was amazing. Server was sweet and on top of it. Atmosphere was quiet because they had just opened, but we’ve walked in here on a Sunday and it was lively with a live band. Highly recommend.

Tried Tony G's for the first time today. I will definitely be back at least a dozen more times to try all of the things on the menu that sounded amazingly delicious. Today I tried the catfish and macaroni and cheese. Both were so tasty. 5/5. My husband ordered the red beans and rice and that was delicious as well. Service was friendly and attentive. The other employees that we came in contact with were also warm and welcoming. I loved the vibe here. Can't wait to be in San Antonio again to stop back in.

I came for Sunday brunch and it’s buffet style. Let me tell you something Linda, the food was A1! Everything was flavorful and fresh! The service was good and the ambiance was amazing. They had a live band playing and they were great! There’s plenty of parking and it not too loud or too packed. It was just right. They clear the tables quickly and it’s very clean. I loved the black joy in the building along the welcoming approach for everyone! Brunch is from 11-3pm on Sundays.

I honestly give this place a 9/10 The food was amazing . I was a little disappointed that the sweet potatoes was canned, but hey to each it's own. Other than that. It gives mom and pops. Our server was not to attentive but the pork chop mac and cheese and greens and fried chicken is a must. I will definitely go back when im.in the San Antonio area

When we arrived in S.A. We were told to visit the restaurants at the Riverwalk. But, we found our way to an out of the way spot and were not disappointed. The oxtails were falling off the bones. The Mac’n Cheese was cheesy and creamy. The collards were seasoned just right. The service was spot on.
